Established in December 2000, Wincott – Women in Cotton has been helping develop knowledge, opportunities and learning for women involved in all aspects of the Australian Cotton Industry.
From our beginnings of being founded through funding from CRDC, to a paid membership system, Wincott now provides free membership thanks to the generous sponsorship of ANZ, Grant Thornton & Associates, Austsafe Super, Freedom Fuels, Suncorp Metway, Rural Affinity, Cotton Research and Deveopment Corporation.

Now in our eleventh year, Wincott continues to welcome and inform industry newcomers by providing a Starter Kit filled with industry information, as well as continuing our commitment to training & mentoring all members through such initiatives as the 2009/2010 ‘Voices in Agriculture’ program, thanks to funding from the Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry.
Wincott aims to be a support network to all industry participants, not just women, and to be a credible source of information and awareness of industry issues.
Wincott reviews its business strategies on an annual basis to remain relevant and provide its sponsors with value and members with support to meet the challenges of a changing agricultural scene, environ, resource management & climate change
